JOSEPH D'AMELIO was educated at Pratt Institute, the University of Rome, and Princeton University Graduate School. His awards included First Prize in Chicago's Centennial City Planning Competition, 1954; Second Prize in the Cowboy Hall of Fame and Memorial Museum Competition, Oklahoma City; several Progressive Architecture Design Award Citations; and the A.I.A. School Medal. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Rome and a Voorhees, Walker, Smith and Smith Fellow at Princeton.
