Materials Atthe Ready

Gather together your research notes and sketches, and lay out all the materials you are likely to need for your drawing session. You may find that the ritual of laying out your tools will help to focus your mind on the job in hand. Your drawing tools should be sharp and clean; keep them close at hand, organized by type — so that pastel pencils are separated from graphite, for example.
