Lightly sketch in the shape of the leaf with a mechanical pencil. Draw in the water droplets—note that they are each a different shape.
Lightly fill in the leaf with an even application of Grass Green. Make sure to leave the droplets the white of the paper.
With Tuscan Red, apply the veins and edges of the leaf with a sharp point. Lightly layer this color to the outside edges of the leaf. With a sharp point and firm pressure, draw a distinct line of Tuscan Red underneath each water droplet to create their cast shadows. Also apply a shadowed edge to the leaf's top and bottom droplets.
